On April 27, 2006, Morgan Stanley sponsored an event at the Diablo Country Club
with Jane Nelsen as our featured speaker. During the entire planning process,
Jane was extremely helpful, professional and easy to work with.
From the moment I met Jane at the airport, she was a pleasure to work with and
be with. During her presentation, Jane had the audience completely engaged. Her
role play (kids fighting in the car where she took volunteers from the audience
to play the kids) was extremely entertainin--certainly a highlight. I received
feedback from one mother that she has already successfully used the technique
that Jane demonstrated--and that it worked.
I have spoken to a large number of the guests who attended. Every piece of
feedback that I have received has been enthusiastically positive. Our guests
have described Jane's session as "fantastic", "great" and "the best I have ever
been to".
After the event, Jane has continued to be completely friendly and professional.
Jane provided helpful input with constructive feedback on the overall event to

Hi Jane, I hope all went well on your return trip and that you are safely in
Utah by now. I wanted you to know just how pleased the college and the
department were with your presentation and valued information. The evaluations
were great; I will send you the summary when I have it. The verbal feedback was
glowing and I have already heard of several listeners who took your practices to
heart and that it’s already made a difference for their family and work place.
One child care teacher had teens that she went home to that night who were
squabbling and she said she was able to make a different choice in how she
responded which completely changed the dynamic. She was very proud of herself
and reported to my colleague how happy the family is becoming. Over and over I
heard how useful and practical your talk was for them.
We sold over $500 worth of books. Several colleagues here at Bates are
interested in taking the Positive Discipline Training and we will keep in touch
with the Seattle group.
Again, thanks so much for the high quality of your performance, you definitely
delivered! I certainly hope our paths cross again and again, I so enjoyed our
time together!
